The Veterans Day Poker Run is held annually, at the River Lounge in Clayhatchee, Alabama. (between Ft. Rucker and Dothan). The money generated by the Poker Run is used by the VDPR Committee to replace appliances, repair homes, and vehicles of the spouses of Army National Guard Troops serving in Iraq or Afganistan. This is accomplished by working with Betty Galloway and the Family Readiness Program
